Ava Nguyen brings over 20 years of coaching experience to AIIR Consulting, including a decade in the healthcare industry. She is a master at growing and developing people from the C- Suite to the front line and has worked with clients across the United States and in 5 European countries.

Ava has a passion for bringing a fresh, open and innovative perspective to her coaching that leads to breakthrough results in short periods of time. She is focused on providing measurable results while maintaining high-integrity relationships. Her goal is to create sustainable change by building the capacity of her clients, and she does this with a no-nonsense approach tempered with caring concern for her clients.

As a former Director at a growing health care system, Ava enjoyed working with internal sponsors and stakeholders to build sustainable solutions leading to increased employee engagement, accelerated executive onboarding and the development of a coaching culture.

As an external consultant, this experience has informed her ability to customize a coach approach to fit the client’s culture and to ensure alignment with strategic goals and metrics. Ava is an expert at guiding organizations in the development of their leaders and has been sought out as a coach of other coaches.

Ava has a passion for helping leaders manage their resiliency as they manage organizational change, and she has delivered presentations at local, regional and national conferences on this topic. Some of the organizational changes she has supported include partnering with executives and operational leaders to open new hospitals and clinics, merge entities, redeploy employees, and build new leadership teams. Other areas of expertise include building leaders’ ability to manage difficult situations, coach and mentor staff, increase civility in the workplace and increase accountability.

Ava is a lifelong learner and holds a Master of Science in Administrative Leadership as well as certifications in the Hogan Assessment Suite (Hogan Assessments), Brain Based Results Coaching (NeuroLeadership Institute), Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, Influencer (Vital Smarts), Facilitation (DDI), Coaching (Coach University), Organizational Development (ASTD) and the MBTI. She is an ACC certified coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF), and is also a member of the International Change Management Association (ICMA) and the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
